Dear Greenwood Water Customers,
At 10:30 AM today, water service was temporarily shut off to perform critical mainline repairs within the Greenwood Water Corporation system. Our crews are actively working to complete the repairs and restore water service as quickly and safely as possible.
Due to this interruption, system pressure has fallen below the required 20 psi minimum. As a result, and in accordance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations, we are issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Notice for all Greenwood Water customers effective immediately and lasting until further notice.

Loss of pressure below 20 psi may allow contaminants to enter the distribution system. While this is a precautionary notice, your safety is our top priority, and we are following all state-required procedures.
